Accounting Clerk
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a short-term assignment. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to gain practical experience in accounting, finance, and administrative support.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, with a focus on accurate data entry, maintaining financial records, and supporting the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial information into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Maintain and update financial records, databases, and documentation.
- Support basic reconciliations, reporting, and general accounting tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and reviewing information.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in data entry, accounting, or administrative support is an asset but not required.
