NC Machinists (Senior and Junior) | Toronto, ON | On-site | Full time
A fast-growing Toronto manufacturer makes precision metal parts for major tech companies, plus aerospace, robotics and medical-device programs. Revenue is climbing fast, and they’re building out their machining floor, with 7+ machinists to hire by early 2027.
The founders came up through the trades, so this is a shop run by people who know the work. The engineering team also builds its own software for the shop floor, and your feedback shapes it.
Senior CNC Machinist ($80K to $100K CAD)
- 3 to 7 years as a production machinist
- Take parts from a 3D model and 2D drawing to finished metal on your own
- Run CNC mills and help keep a four-day turnaround
- Own part quality, and set the standard for newer machinists as they join
Junior CNC Machinist ($60K to $80K CAD)
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- A machining trade-school graduate, or a career changer from construction or another hands-on trade
- Full in-house training: you’ll master one CNC operation first, then build toward producing parts on your own
- Learn to read 3D models and 2D drawings alongside experienced machinists
- Ideal for hungry learners who want to build a real, long-term craft
For both roles, you’ll need
- To live within commuting distance of Toronto and be on-site 5 days a week
- Availability for assigned day, night and weekend shifts
- To be legally able to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship)
- To be comfortable in a physically demanding, hands-on shop
- Pride in your work, because this team cares about every part
Nice to have
- Current experience at a Toronto machine shop
- CNC programming or CAM experience
- Trade-school training (Seneca, Humber, Centennial or similar)
- Top of your class, with a reference from an instructor
