About Fulfillment IQ
Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) is a supply chain technology and consulting company helping retailers, brands, and 3PLs solve complex fulfillment and logistics challenges.
Our work spans three core practices: Supply Chain Consulting, Technology Delivery & Transformation, and Implementation. We help customers assess and design supply-chain strategies, select and implement technology, modernize fulfillment operations, and build technology solutions that solve complex operational challenges.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director, Product & Strategy to lead our Tech Delivery practice across both sides of the house: the internal teams that build, and the client relationships that fund and shape the work. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is equally comfortable in a client boardroom shaping strategy and in a delivery stand-up unblocking a team.
You will own the arc of a client engagement end to end: understanding the business problem, shaping the solution strategy, and directing the cross-functional team that delivers it, all while continuously deepening and expanding the client relationship. You will also help incubate Fulfillment IQ's own internal innovation products, applying the same product discipline to what we build for ourselves.
What You'll Do
Client & Relationship Leadership
- Own the client relationship as the senior point of contact for assigned clients, building trust with stakeholders from operators to executives
- Capture and translate client needs into clearly framed problems and solution strategies, translating business goals into delivery roadmaps
- Grow and expand accounts by identifying new opportunities, shaping proposals and statements of work, and converting successful delivery into expanded scope and long-term partnership
- Manage expectations, scope, risks, and escalations proactively, keeping engagements healthy commercially and operationally
Delivery & Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams, product managers, business analysts, UX designers, DevOps engineers, developers (front-end, back-end, full-stack), and tech leads
- Direct delivery across engagements, planning, resourcing, quality, timelines, and budgets, and holding teams accountable to outcomes
- Establish delivery standards, ways of working, and reusable practices that raise quality and predictability across the practice
- Attract and develop talent, coaching leads, growing capability, and building a team people want to be part of
Product & Solution Strategy
- Shape solution architectures and product strategies that fit each client's operations, budget, and roadmap
- Incubate Fulfillment IQ's internal innovation products, owning discovery, prioritization, and delivery of what we build for our own IP and platforms
- Translate supply chain and fulfillment technology trends into practical recommendations and differentiated offerings
- Partner closely with sales, partnerships, and leadership to align solutions with market opportunity
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of technology delivery, product, or professional-services teams (services, consulting, systems-integration, or product backgrounds all welcome)
- Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and grow accounts, turning delivery success into expanded scope and revenue
- Strong command of software delivery: product management, requirements, UX, and engineering across the full stack, plus modern DevOps and agile practices
- Experience shaping solution strategy and translating ambiguous business problems into clear, deliverable roadmaps
- A track record of leading and developing cross-functional teams and setting delivery standards
- Supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, WMS/OMS/TMS, or e-commerce technology experience strongly preferred
- Product ownership instincts: comfortable driving internal innovation products from idea to launch
- Excellent communication and executive presence; able to move fluidly between strategy conversations and hands-on delivery
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience; based in the US or Canada and able to work on a hybrid schedule
Skills And Competencies
Required Skills
- Client & stakeholder management: building and expanding senior relationships and negotiating scope
- Delivery & program management: planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk management, and on-time execution across concurrent engagements
- Solution & product strategy: framing ambiguous business problems and translating them into architectures and roadmaps
- Cross-functional team leadership: directing product, BA, UX, engineering, and DevOps talent
- Software delivery lifecycle fluency: agile/scrum, requirements, UX, and full-stack engineering across front-end, backend, and DevOps
- Commercial acumen: proposals, statements of work, estimation, and account growth
- Executive communication & presentation: clear, credible, and persuasive with technical and business audiences
- Product ownership: prioritization, discovery, and driving products from concept to launch
Good-to-Have Skills
- Supply chain / fulfillment domain: WMS, OMS, TMS, order management, or e-commerce logistics platforms
- Pre-sales & solutioning: shaping deals and demonstrating solutions to prospective clients
- Modern cloud & DevOps tooling: CI/CD, containers, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Product & delivery tooling: Jira, roadmapping, and agile management platforms
- Data & analytics literacy: using metrics to steer delivery and inform product decisions
- Relevant certifications: PMP, SAFe, CSM/CSPO, or equivalent
