Company Description Pollwright is a research-focused organization that helps clients understand voter attitudes and behavior through accurate, on-the-ground data collection. The company specializes in designing and conducting surveys that capture real-world perspectives to inform political, civic, and community decision-making. Team members work with structured tools and guidance to ensure survey responses are reliable and useful.
The role
We’re building a field team to conduct in-person voter surveys across Toronto around the October 26 municipal election. You’ll go door to door in assigned neighbourhoods, and run a short survey with residents who agree to take part. This is research, not sales or campaigning: you won’t be selling anything or advocating for any candidate.
What you’ll do
- Canvass assigned streets and buildings, following a set route and contact protocol
- Run a 3 to 5 minute survey , recording answers accurately
- Respect residents’ choice to decline and follow all privacy and consent procedures
- Check in with your field lead at the start and end of each shift
- Stay strictly non-partisan while on shift, including in what you wear and say
