Meet Circuit Stream
Where big futures start. Circuit Stream is building the defining youth enrichment brand in North America. We create pre-university summer camps that give young people the chance to explore what they might want to do next, from AI, engineering, medicine, and business to psychology, sports, outdoor adventure, and more. Through partnerships with leading universities and industry experts, we turn those interests into hands-on experiences that build skills, confidence, and open doors to future opportunities. We have big ambitions to serve over 10,000+ students a year. Getting there means moving quickly, trying new things, learning from what works, and giving great people real ownership. If you’re ambitious about where your own career can go, and excited to help young people discover where theirs might lead, you’ll thrive here.
We’re looking for a healthcare practitioner, health educator, researcher, or Masters/PhD student who can make medicine and healthcare approachable for teenagers and create a classroom where students are excited to investigate real-world health scenarios, ask questions, and learn.

The curriculum, lesson resources, and activities are provided - your role is to make them engaging, accessible, and memorable while helping every student make progress.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver Circuit Stream’s provided Foundations of Medicine and Healthcare curriculum with energy, clarity, and strong classroom facilitation.
- Guide students through medical case studies, healthcare scenarios, data interpretation, and hands-on activities while ensuring learners are meeting the course learning objectives.
- Help students connect course concepts to diverse healthcare careers and explain medical and health-science ideas in clear, age-appropriate ways.
- Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and use appropriate behavior-management techniques to reinforce expectations, rules, and safety requirements.
- Supervise students during scheduled indoor and outdoor activities outside classroom instruction each day, while monitoring learner progress and communicating concerns or support needs to the Circuit Stream team.
What We're Looking For
- You genuinely enjoy working with teenagers and know how to keep a group engaged, participating, and excited to learn.
- Professional, academic, clinical, research, or substantial project experience in medicine, healthcare, health sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a closely related field.
- A completed Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, medicine, nursing, or health-science discipline; OR Masters/PhD in progress.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain medical and healthcare concepts clearly and responsibly to beginners.
- Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, camp, or youth-program experience is strongly preferred.
- You are dependable, prepared, receptive to feedback, and comfortable taking responsibility for student behavior and safety.
Who This Is For
- Someone who gets energy from helping teenagers explore medicine, healthcare, and possible future career paths.
- A practical teacher who brings provided lessons to life through questions, case studies, demonstrations, discussion, and active participation.
- Someone who can be warm and approachable while still setting clear boundaries and maintaining a focused, safe learning environment.
- A thoughtful facilitator who can make complex or sensitive healthcare topics age-appropriate, evidence-based, and easy for beginners to understand.
- Someone who is available to teach on weekdays during the summer for all course dates listed.
Who This Is Not For
- If you are interested in medicine or healthcare but do not enjoy spending your day actively working with teenagers.
- If your preferred teaching style is primarily lecture-based or you expect students to stay engaged without active facilitation.
- If you become frustrated when beginners need extra explanation, encouragement, or redirection.
- If you are uncomfortable enforcing classroom expectations, supervising students outside the classroom, or taking responsibility for safety.
What's In It For You
- The opportunity to introduce teenagers to medicine and healthcare and help them explore future academic and career paths.
- A complete curriculum, lesson resources, activities, instructor training, and support from Circuit Stream’s Education team.
- A community of instructors and educators to connect with and learn from.
- A rewarding summer role where you can strengthen your teaching and mentorship skills while making a visible impact on students.
