Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator with a strong background in IT Infrastructure projects, Jira, and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in the IT industry, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to coordinate and support the successful delivery of infrastructure and technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects.
- Track project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and governance deliverables.
- Utilize Jira for project tracking, backlog management, issue tracking, and reporting.
- Leverage ServiceNow for incident, change, problem, and service request management.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and escalate risks or issues.
- Coordinate resource allocations and project-related communications.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Support infrastructure initiatives involving servers, virtualization, networking, cloud, storage, security, and data center operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in IT Project Coordination or Project Management support roles.
- Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure environments, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud, and security.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously in an enterprise IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, and governance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is an asset.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure transformation or migration projects.
