Inspire. Educate. Build Something Meaningful.
Are you passionate about educating healthcare professionals and shaping the future of aesthetic medicine?
We're seeking an experienced Medical Education Manager to lead the execution of a world-class medical education strategy, empowering physicians through innovative training programs, scientific education, and hands-on learning experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing global aesthetics company at a pivotal stage of its Canadian expansion. While backed by the resources and expertise of an established international organization, our Canadian business operates with the agility, collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit of a growing start-up.
If you're looking for more than a traditional Medical Education role, this is your chance to help build something meaningful while making a lasting impact on physicians, customers, and the future of our business.
Why This Opportunity?
This role offers the rare opportunity to help shape and grow Medical Education within Canada.
As a key member of a lean, high-performing team, you'll enjoy significant autonomy and visibility while working closely with colleagues across Medical, Sales, Marketing, and Global Medical Education. Your ideas will be heard, your contributions will have a direct impact, and you'll play an instrumental role in establishing our educational presence across the country.
Because we're still building our Canadian footprint, we're looking for someone who embraces variety and enjoys wearing multiple hats. One day you may be delivering physician training, the next collaborating on a product launch, developing faculty relationships, or planning a national educational event.
If you're energized by building programs, creating new processes, and helping grow a business rather than simply maintaining one, you'll thrive in this environment.
What You'll Do:
Lead Exceptional Medical Education Programs
- Deliver engaging physician training courses, workshops, cadaver labs, and educational events.
- Execute global education initiatives while tailoring programs to meet local market needs.
- Support new product launches with high-quality scientific training.
- Ensure every educational experience reflects the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Build & Develop an Elite Faculty Network
- Recruit, mentor, and support local Faculty members and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Identify and cultivate future Faculty members and emerging industry "Rising Stars."
- Foster long-term relationships with physicians and clinical experts.
- Help elevate the quality and consistency of educational delivery across the market.
Create Outstanding Educational Experiences
- Plan and execute workshops, webinars, Train-the-Trainer programs, and live educational events.
- Coordinate participant experience, event logistics, and cross-functional execution.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless educational experiences.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and leadership teams.
- Provide scientific expertise during product launches and commercial initiatives.
- Help ensure consistent clinical messaging throughout customer interactions.
- Contribute to annual Medical Education planning and strategic initiatives.
Bring Global Education to Life Locally
- Implement global educational programs, protocols, and clinical content.
- Adapt training materials to local regulations and market needs.
- Train internal teams and Faculty members on new educational resources.
- Share market insights and physician feedback with the Global Medical Education team to continuously improve future programs.
Measure Success & Drive Continuous Improvement
- Monitor educational activity, participation, and key performance indicators.
- Gather feedback from healthcare professionals and Faculty members.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Prepare reports and share educational outcomes with the Global Medical Education team.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in professionals who combine strong scientific credibility with exceptional communication skills, business acumen, and a genuine passion for physician education.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a medical, scientific, nursing, healthcare discipline or commerce is an asset
- Experience delivering education or training to healthcare professionals (3 years minimum preferred)
- Outstanding presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills
- Experience working with physicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), or clinical experts
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Ability to build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Comfortable collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Medical Affairs teams
- Fluent English with the ability to participate in international meetings and global training initiatives
- Experience within medical aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, injectables, cosmeceuticals, or medical grade skincare is considered a must
The Ideal Candidate
You'll be someone who:
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
- Enjoys building programs rather than simply maintaining existing ones.
- Is proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Doesn't mind wearing multiple hats as business needs evolve.
- Is equally comfortable presenting to a room full of physicians as coordinating behind-the-scenes logistics.
- Wants to make a visible impact within a growing Canadian organization.
Travel:
- Approximately 50% travel throughout Canada to support physician training, workshops, educational events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Occasional international travel to attend Global Medical Education meetings, Train-the-Trainer programs, and educational conferences.
- When not traveling, you will be an integral part of our Markham, Ontario office team.
Why Join Us?
You'll become part of an innovative global organization committed to advancing medical aesthetics through science, education, and clinical excellence.
In this highly visible role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Help shape the future of Medical Education in Canada.
- Collaborate with internationally recognized experts and industry-leading physicians.
- Influence the success of new product launches and educational initiatives.
- Build meaningful relationships with physicians and Key Opinion Leaders.
- Enjoy the autonomy and influence that comes with joining a growing business while benefiting from the support of a respected global organization.
- Play a key role in a collaborative team where your ideas and contributions truly matter.
Ready to Make an Impact?
If you're passionate about education, science, and helping healthcare professionals deliver exceptional patient outcomes-and you're excited by the opportunity to build something special-we'd love to hear from you.
