Who we are
Lettuce is Canada's only financing partner built exclusively for fertility. Our goal is simple: make fertility treatment more accessible to Canadians through affordable financing plans. We partner directly with fertility clinics so patients can get a clear answer in minutes and begin treatment without delay.
We launched in 2026 and are a startup team of founders and operators with deep backgrounds in capital markets, credit and technology. You would be one of our earliest hires, helping shape how we support patients as we grow.
The role
You will be the person patients and clinics rely on once an application is in motion. You will own the patient relationship from application through to final payment, working inside live loan files and making decisions that matter to real people on their path to parenthood.
What you will do:
- Guide patients through the application and funding process by phone, email and chat
- Manage servicing requests: payment date changes, pre-authorized debit updates, payoff quotes and account inquiries
- Work with patients experiencing financial hardship to restructure or re-amortize their financing plans within our policy framework
- Support our fertility clinic partners with questions on approvals, disbursements and refunds
- Keep accurate records in our loan management system and surface patterns, issues and product ideas to the team
- Help build the support playbooks and processes that will let us serve many more Canadians pursuing fertility treatment
Who we are looking for
- 2+ years in loan servicing, banking, collections, customer success or a similar role involving careful conversations about money
- Comfortable with numbers and able to explain a payment schedule or a fee in plain language
- Steady and clear in difficult moments, with genuine empathy for people going through a hard season
- Organized, dependable and a strong writer who follows through
- Curious about lending and fintech, and energized by the pace of a startup
- Bonus: experience in fertility or healthcare settings, exposure to a loan management system, or French language skills
What's in it for you
- Competitive compensation
- A ground-floor role at a funded fintech with a clear path into operations, credit or clinic partnerships as we grow
- Direct, daily access to the founders and real influence over how we build
- Work that matters: every file you touch is a Canadian trying to start or grow a family
- The chance to learn the mechanics of consumer lending from a team that has done it at scale
