Your new company
We've partnered with a well-established restoration and construction contractor operating throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The organization specializes in building envelope restoration, structural rehabilitation, waterproofing, masonry repairs, concrete restoration, and parking structure projects. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship, safety, and client service, the company continues to deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, institutional, and residential sectors.
Your new role
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the successful delivery of restoration and construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, you will assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, procurement, cost tracking, and overall project administration.
This is a hybrid role that offers a balance of office and site exposure. You will be responsible for coordinating project documentation, tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project schedules while ensuring all stakeholders have the information required to keep projects progressing efficiently. Regular site visits will be required to assist with project monitoring, progress reporting, site coordination, and communication between the field and office teams.
You will also support project meetings, maintain accurate project records, assist with contract administration, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar construction-related role. Experience working on restoration, building envelope, construction, rehabilitation, or general contracting projects would be considered an asset.
You will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A solid understanding of construction drawings, project documentation, scheduling, procurement processes, and contract administration is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software is expected.
A post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
What you'll get in return
In return, you'll be offered a competitive compensation package aligned with experience, along with benefits and vacation. The organization provides a supportive team environment, hands-on project exposure, career development opportunities, and the ability to work on a variety of restoration and construction projects throughout the GTA.
