Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will provide client-centered therapeutic massage services in an on-site clinical setting located in Toronto, ON. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering a range of massage techniques to address pain, tightness, stress, and performance goals. The RMT will document treatments, maintain accurate clinical records, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to support holistic client care. This role also involves educating clients on self-care, injury prevention, and wellness strategies, while contributing to a warm, welcoming, and professional client experience. This is an independent contractor role requiring initial on-site availability (WED & SAT) and commitment to Ace Sports Clinic’s standards of clinical excellence and ethical practice. Our current RMT is fully booked so you will immediately benefit from client overflow.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
- Proficiency in Deep Tissue and related hands-on techniques that support relaxation, recovery, and functional movement.
- Ability to support Stress Management through appropriate massage modalities and client education.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), with appropriate liability insurance.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary or sports-focused clinic setting is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other practitioners, follow clinic protocols, and maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Availability for on-site shifts in Toronto, ON, including evenings or weekends as needed.
