Senior AI Product Designer
Contract: 12 months + extension
Hybrid: 2x on-site (Downtown Toronto)
Rate: $60-67/hr
Required Skills & Experience
- Senior-level experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or Digital Product Design.
- Approximately 4+ years of meaningful healthcare product design experience, ideally within digital health, hospitals, clinical technology, or healthcare SaaS.
- Experience designing a chatbot
- Experience designing products used by healthcare providers, clinicians, hospital staff, or healthcare administrators.
- Strong understanding of clinical and healthcare workflows and how technology fits into healthcare delivery.
- Experience designing complex B2B SaaS, enterprise, provider-facing, or administrative platforms.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Figma, including detailed UI design, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping.
- Ability to take an ambiguous business or healthcare problem and quickly turn it into a tangible, interactive product experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating healthcare product design, individual design ownership, complex workflows, and polished UI/UX.
- Strong product storytelling and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to work closely with external healthcare partners and translate their needs into actionable product concepts.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing conversational AI, GenAI, AI assistants, copilots, or other AI-powered product experiences.
- Experience with healthcare platforms or organizations similar to PointClickCare, Jane App, hospital systems, EMR/EHR platforms, or other provider-focused healthcare technology.
- Experience with Figma Make, Replit, coded prototypes, or other AI-assisted prototyping tools.
- Experience designing enterprise admin interfaces involving configuration, services, permissions, users, or organizational workflows.
- Experience designing AI experiences that incorporate human oversight, transparency, and safeguards.
- Experience designing multi-tenant or configurable SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, interoperability, or healthcare technology integrations.
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our client’s Digital Health team. This individual will help design the next generation of AI-powered healthcare experiences, with a particular focus on healthcare providers, hospitals, clinicians, and administrators.
This is a highly hands-on design role for someone who understands the complexities of healthcare and can translate real-world clinical and administrative workflows into intuitive digital experiences.
You will work directly with healthcare organizations to understand their needs and rapidly bring ideas to life through high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and AI-powered experiences. This could include conversational AI experiences, provider tools, administrative platforms, and prototypes demonstrating how healthcare organizations can incorporate AI into existing workflows.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable moving quickly from an ambiguous healthcare problem to a polished prototype that can be put directly in front of healthcare partners for feedback.
