Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, including Generative AI (GenAI) applications, intelligent agents, and reusable AI components.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scalable, production-ready AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, and machine learning technologies. This role will focus on accelerating the delivery of priority AI initiatives while establishing reusable frameworks, services, and development standards that support long-term enterprise AI capabilities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Python, Microsoft Azure AI technologies, software engineering, and machine learning, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure, reliable, and high-performing AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement Generative AI applications, intelligent agents, and AI-enabled solutions to address complex business requirements.
- Develop reusable AI components, services, APIs, and solution patterns that can be leveraged across multiple enterprise applications.
- Build and integrate solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic AI, and machine learning techniques.
- Develop and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.
- Design and implement AI agents and automated business workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and related technologies.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data sources, applications, APIs, and business processes.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept, transitioning successful solutions into secure, scalable, production-ready applications.
- Design and implement machine learning models using classification, regression, clustering, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
- Develop and optimize machine learning pipelines to support model training, validation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM outputs, improve accuracy, and enhance AI application performance.
- Evaluate AI models and applications for accuracy, reliability, scalability, and performance, implementing continuous improvements.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Incorporate Responsible AI principles, data privacy, security, and governance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to enterprise AI development standards, reusable technical frameworks, solution documentation, and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in AI development, machine learning, data science, or enterprise software engineering.
- Advanced programming expertise in Python and SQL, with demonstrated experience developing production-quality applications.
- Strong hands-on experience developing Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic AI, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying production-ready AI applications, intelligent agents, and reusable APIs.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI technologies, including Azure AI Foundry (Microsoft Foundry), Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Services.
- Experience developing AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Automate.
- Strong technical foundation in statistics and machine learning, including classification, regression, clustering, feature engineering, model evaluation, and ML pipelines.
- Experience developing and evaluating machine learning solutions that achieve measurable performance outcomes.
- Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and data environments.
- Knowledge of Databricks and cloud-based data processing and analytics environments.
- Proficiency with software development tools and practices, including Visual Studio Code, Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring.
- Strong understanding of AI model evaluation, prompt optimization, application performance, and production reliability.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI principles, security, privacy, and enterprise data governance requirements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality solutions within established timelines.
