As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Mobile Developer.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to serve as a technical lead within our mobile engineering team. The Senior Mobile Developer will own end-to-end delivery of complex mobile features and mentor other developers. This role combines deep hands-on expertise with architectural thinking and ownership of app quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced features for iOS. and/or Android apps, from concept to production release.
- Define and advocate for mobile architecture, coding standards, and best practices across the team.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and back-end teams to shape solutions, estimate work, and reduce delivery risk.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security, including offline behaviour and error handling.
- Review code, guide refactoring efforts, and mentor intermediate and junior developers.
- Own complex integrations, including payments, analytics, push notifications, third-party SDKs, and platform services.
- Contribute to roadmaps, technical spikes, and proofs of concept for new mobile capabilities or frameworks.
- Help improve build pipelines, automated testing, and release management for faster, safer deployments.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8+ years of professional mobile development experience, with multiple shipped apps in production.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one native platform (Swift/SwiftUI for iOS or Kotlin/Jetpack for Android).
- Cross-platform experience with React Native or Flutter is a strong plus.
- Proven experience designing mobile architectures, modular codebases, and reusable components.
- Deep understanding of platform guidelines, performance tuning, memory management, and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD for mobile, such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong track record of technical leadership, including mentoring, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering improvements.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with stakeholders across product, design, and QA.
