Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator
Bite Brands | Toronto
About the Role
Bite Brands is looking for a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator to help bring our restaurant brands, including Forest Hill Farmhouse and Dave’s Hot Chicken Canada, to life online.
You’ll manage day-to-day social media activity and create engaging content that builds brand awareness, strengthens our community, and drives visits to our restaurants. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take an idea from concept to filming, editing, and posting.
Key Responsibilities
- Create content: Shoot and edit food photography, short-form videos, Reels, TikToks, and Stories featuring our food, restaurants, people, and brand experiences.
- Manage social accounts: Schedule and publish content, write compelling captions, and maintain a consistent voice and visual style for each brand.
- Own the content calendar: Plan content around menu launches, new locations, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Build our community: Monitor comments, messages, tags, and mentions; respond promptly and coordinate customer concerns with the appropriate team.
- Stay ahead of trends: Identify relevant trends, sounds, formats, and cultural moments, and turn them into ideas that fit our brands.
- Support creator partnerships: Coordinate influencer visits, product gifting, content deliverables, and opportunities to share user-generated content.
- Collaborate across teams: Work with marketing, operations, and restaurant teams to organize shoots and capture content across locations.
- Track results: Monitor engagement, reach, follower growth, and content performance, and use insights to improve future posts.
- Keep assets organized: Maintain a searchable library of photos, videos, and approved creative assets.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related role; hospitality, food, or lifestyle experience is an asset.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating photography, video editing, and social content.
- Confident filming on a smartphone and comfortable directing people on camera.
- Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including what makes content engaging and shareable.
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and a strong visual eye.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple brand calendars, deadlines, and projects.
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to organize calendars and report on performance.
- Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and follow through.
- Available to travel to restaurant locations for shoots and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
How to Apply
- Please submit your résumé, portfolio or links to accounts you’ve managed, and examples of content you have personally created. Include a brief description of your role in each example.
