Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver secure software solutions for a tokenized trading system supporting live US exchange operations.
- Own the full software delivery lifecycle - from development through testing, production deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
- Debug, maintain, and enhance existing applications to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ensure software compatibility across platforms and environments, including Linux-based systems.
- Collaborate with global teams to analyze business and system requirements, define technical designs, and contribute to system improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–10 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong proficiency in Core Java (OOP).
- Solid working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including command-line tools, log analysis, and application or process troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Perl, Shell scripting, or Python to automate tasks and support software development or production operations.
- Experience with software testing and debugging, including unit and integration testing, root-cause analysis, and diagnosing application performance issues.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical designs, document issues and resolutions, and collaborate across global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including writing SQL queries and working with relational data models.
- Experience in financial services technology, particularly trading systems, equities, derivatives, capital markets, or market surveillance.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, along with experience using open-source development tools and libraries.
