Job Title: Transfer Operations Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 4 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)
Job Summary
The Transfer Operations Analyst is responsible for processing financial transfers accurately and efficiently while managing daily workloads and meeting established service timelines. The role requires previous banking experience, strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review financial transfer requests accurately and within established deadlines.
- Manage daily workloads and incoming requests while meeting service-level requirements.
- Verify transaction details, account information, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and support timely resolution or escalation.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and follow established banking procedures and policies.
- Use MS Excel and other MS Office applications to support daily operational activities.
- Respond to inquiries from internal teams and business partners in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve operational issues and maintain smooth workflow.
- Adapt to changing priorities, learn new systems, and support process improvements.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while handling high volumes of transactions.
Must-Have Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience working in a bank or financial institution.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on transfer processing experience.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
