Lock Search Group is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a company operating in the mining sector for an experienced Vice President, Investor Relations. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining relationships with the investment community, communicating the company's strategic direction, and supporting its positioning within the capital markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute investor relations strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, shareholders, and other capital markets stakeholders.
- Support executive leadership in investor communications, presentations, and market engagement activities.
- Coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other investor relations initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and developments across the mining sector.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and effective communication of corporate strategy, performance, and key developments.
Qualifications & Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital markets, corporate finance, or a related field, ideally within the mining sector.
- Strong knowledge of the mining and natural resources industry.
- Experience working with publicly traded companies and understanding of financial reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Established network within the investment community, including institutional investors and equity analysts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; additional qualifications are an asset.
