Nova Counseling Centre

Nova Counselling Centre is a multidisciplinary mental health clinic providing compassionate, culturally responsive psychotherapy and counselling for children, youth, adults, couples, and families.

With a diverse team of 60+ therapists providing care in 25+ languages, along with interpreter support when needed, we help clients access care that fits their needs, background, and communication preferences. We offer in-person appointments at our Thornhill clinic and virtual care across Canada.

Our clinicians support concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, stress, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship and family challenges, workplace stress, OCD, panic attacks, chronic pain, life transitions, and more. Care is personalized using evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and couples and family therapy.

We also support clients using extended health benefits and auto insurance/MVA coverage, as well as those eligible through IFHP, WSIB, Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), RCMP, and NIHB. Our team works with insurers, case managers, legal teams, and other professionals involved in a client’s care.

Nova also offers court-ordered and forensic counselling, clinical supervision, practicum placements, and volunteer opportunities for emerging mental health professionals.
