Original job description

About us: 247 Labs is a Toronto custom software company. Hospitals, insurers, government agencies and growing companies hire us to build web platforms, mobile apps and AI tools. We're growing, and we want someone who will help us grow faster.

The role: This job has two halves. In the first, you own a book of client accounts. You become the person each client trusts, you learn how their business works, and you find the next project before they've thought to ask. In the second, you open new doors: cold email, calls, LinkedIn and events, aimed at companies that should be working with us.

What you'll do

Own the relationship with each client from kickoff through launch and afterward
Map each client's organization: who decides, who holds the budget, which other teams have the same problem
Hear the upsell before anyone pitches it ("can it also do X?", a manual process mentioned in passing, a new name on the CC line)
Run Quarterly Business Reviews that lead naturally to phase 2
Run outbound: build lists, write cold emails that get answered, make calls and book meetings
Keep the CRM clean and report pipeline numbers weekly
Work alongside the CEO and VP Sales on the largest accounts

You might be a fit if you

Have 2+ years in account management, sales or business development (B2B, agency or tech preferred)
Have done real outbound work: cold calls, cold email, LinkedIn prospecting, with numbers to show for it
Write clearly and speak with confidence to a VP or a C-suite executive
Ask good questions and listen more than you talk
Follow up without being told
Want a target, want to hit it, and want to be measured on it

Nice to have

Experience selling software or development services
Experience with HubSpot, Apollo or similar tools
Experience in healthcare, insurance, fintech or the public sector

What you get

Direct access to leadership; this isn't a big-company role where your work disappears
Real clients and real projects from day one
A clear path to grow as the company grows

More about this job

Responsibilities

Manage client relationships from kickoff through launch and beyond, identify opportunities for additional projects, and lead Quarterly Business Reviews. Prospect for new clients through cold email, calls, LinkedIn, and events, while maintaining CRM records and reporting pipeline metrics.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least two years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in B2B, agency, or technology settings, and demonstrable experience with outbound prospecting. They should communicate confidently with senior executives, ask thoughtful questions, listen well, follow up independently, and be motivated by measurable targets.
