Wingstop Canada
Assistant General Manager
Location: GTA
Are you ready to join the Wingstop crew?
At Wingstop Canada, we're all about flavour, fun and fast-paced energy. We're looking for an Assistant General Manager who's ready to level up - someone who wants to learn what it takes to run a high-volume restaurant from the front counter to the fryer, and who sees this role for what it is: the launchpad to becoming the mini-CEO of your own store one day.
If you're a high-performing Shift Lead hungry for more, or an emerging leader ready to own the business, then step up - this gig has your name all over it. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with your General Manager, build the skills that drive real results, and put yourself on the fast track to a GM role of your own.
What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Wingstop Superpowers)
- Leading the Pack: Support your GM in running all store operations, from the front counter to the fryer, keeping the team pumped and the whole store running like a well-oiled machine.
- Quality & Service Guru: Make sure every wing is crispy, juicy, and packed with our legendary flavour - while delivering next-level customer service.
- Business Boss Moves in Training: Get hands-on with labour, inventory, scheduling, sales targets, and cost controls - because a well-run store is a happy store, and you're learning to run it.
- Squad Motivation: Recruit, train, coach, and inspire your team to be the best in the business. Happy crew = happy customers!
- Your Path to GM: Learn the ins and outs of restaurant management, financial performance, and leadership as you prepare to take the helm. We promote from within, and we're building you for what's next.
- Safety First: Ensure top-tier food safety, hygiene, and workplace standards - because we take cleanliness as seriously as we take flavour.
What We’re Looking For
- A track record of leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment - for example, 3+ years as a Shift Lead/Manager or 1+ year as an Assistant General Manager of a high-volume restaurant. Bonus points for having both back-of-house and full-service front-of-house experience.
- A growth mindset and the drive to develop into a future General Manager.
- A people-first leader and natural coach who can build a strong, motivated team and create an amazing workplace culture.
- Passion for food, flavour, and delivering an unforgettable customer experience.
- The ability to hustle, problem-solve, and keep cool under pressure - because peak hour gets intense!
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, cash handling, or shift management is a strong asset.
What’s In It For You?
- Competitive salary + performance-based incentives (win-win!).
- FREE wings
- A pathway to General Manager - Wingstop is growing, and we want you to grow with us!
- Hands-on leadership training designed to turn you into the boss you've always wanted to be.
- The chance to make a real impact on your team, your restaurant, and your own future.
