Role Summary
The AWS Cloud Engineer supports cloud infrastructure and serverless workloads, with a focus on production troubleshooting, infrastructure as code, networking, containerized environments, CI/CD, security, cost optimization, and payment-domain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot AWS serverless and platform services, including Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, ECR, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Cognito, Service Catalog, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, and S3.
- Support AWS infrastructure across VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, network ACLs, security groups, and related networking components.
- Use AWS CDK for infrastructure as code. Experience with AWS CloudFormation is an additional advantage.
- Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using AWS CDK and, where applicable, AWS CloudFormation.
- Support AWS networking components, including Elastic Load Balancing, VPC, Route 53 hosted zones, Direct Connect, virtual interfaces, and VPC Flow Logs.
- Investigate production issues, improve cloud reliability, and contribute to security and cost-optimization activities.
- Work with containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
Key Skills
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services and production troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Lambda, RDS, AWS Glue, AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, ECS, EC2, Amazon Redshift, DynamoDB, cloud migration, cost optimization, security, SQS, and SNS.
- Understanding of containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with TypeScript or Node.js.
- Payment domain experience.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
