Senior Business Analyst – Capital Markets
1 year contract to start
1 day in the office in Toronto
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Capital Markets Business Analyst with strong collateral domain knowledge and investigative capabilities.
This is not a traditional requirements-gathering-only BA position. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of business questions and issues from beginning to end.
The successful candidate should be comfortable engaging directly with Front Office stakeholders, asking the right questions, independently researching problems, analyzing underlying data, and developing a clear understanding of what is happening across business processes and technology systems.
Reliability, thoroughness, strong communication, and the ability to take initiative are essential to success in this role.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the ongoing operations and enhancement of enterprise collateral management platforms within a Capital Markets environment.
This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, with a particular focus on funding activities, resource management, and collateral utilization. The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of how cash and securities are sourced, allocated, deployed, and optimized across various financial activities.
This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented Business Analyst who understands Capital Markets processes and can confidently engage with Front Office stakeholders. The ideal candidate is naturally investigative, comfortable working independently, and capable of analyzing complex business processes and underlying datasets to identify and resolve issues.
