About Bluebits Technologies
Bluebits Technologies builds smart lockers and digital infrastructure solutions that support smarter, more connected communities. Headquartered in Burnaby, BC, we provide an innovative and collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally, contribute new ideas, and make a meaningful impact.
Our solutions help transform the way people access, store, share, and manage physical assets through intelligent locker technology and connected digital infrastructure. From residential buildings and workplaces to public spaces, educational institutions, recreational facilities, and emerging smart-city applications, we create innovative solutions that improve convenience, security, efficiency, and accessibility.
We believe the future of smart lockers extends far beyond parcel delivery. As organizations continue to digitize operations and improve user experiences, the opportunities to deploy intelligent storage and access solutions are virtually limitless. Bluebits is at the forefront of helping customers unlock those possibilities.
As we continue to expand across Canada, we are seeking an ambitious, results-driven, and customer-focused Account Executive – Business Development to join our Toronto team and help drive our next stage of growth.
About the Role
This is a full-cycle B2B sales role focused on new business development, revenue generation, and account growth. It is not a marketing position.
As an Account Executive – Business Development, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing inbound opportunities through the entire sales process - from initial contact and qualification through discovery, solution development, proposal, negotiation, and close.
While Bluebits generates inbound opportunities, a significant part of your success will come from proactively creating your own pipeline through prospecting, outreach, networking, referrals, industry relationships, and other business development activities.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for them. You will identify prospective customers, initiate conversations with decision-makers, uncover business needs, position Bluebits solutions, and consistently move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
You will take ownership of your opportunities throughout the sales cycle, developing a strong understanding of each customer's requirements and working with internal teams to develop solutions that create meaningful value.
Following the sale, you will continue to maintain the commercial relationship with your customers and identify opportunities for future projects, repeat business, and account expansion. Our support and operations teams will assist customers with implementation and ongoing support, allowing you to remain focused on relationship development and future revenue opportunities.
We are looking for someone who combines a strong sales mindset with a customer-centric approach. Successful candidates will be proactive, persistent, organized, comfortable initiating conversations, and motivated by achieving measurable business and revenue results.
Are you comfortable working independently and managing your own pipeline and priorities while collaborating closely with colleagues across operations, product, marketing, support, and leadership?
Bluebits values initiative, results, and continuous improvement. We recognize and reward high performers through a competitive compensation structure that includes commission and performance-based incentives tied to individual and company/team success.
