Original job description

UBILD is an AI-powered hiring and screening platform built for the construction industry. We help builders find, screen, and place skilled workers faster, through our platform, job board, and staffing services. We work with some of the top builders in Toronto, and we’re growing.

The Role

We’re looking for a hungry, relationship-driven salesperson who wants more than a job. This is a chance to build your own client portfolio from the ground up and form long-lasting relationships with leading builders across the GTA.

You’ll be the first point of contact for new clients: opening doors, understanding their hiring needs, and setting up meetings with UBILD’s owner to close the deal. The best reps here don’t just sell once. They show up on-site, stay connected, and grow accounts over time.

What You’ll Do

Make daily cold calls to builders, contractors, and construction companies

Run discovery meetings to understand each client’s hiring challenges and labour needs

Book qualified meetings directly on the calendar of UBILD’s owner

Meet clients in person on job sites and at their offices across Toronto

Stay in touch with existing clients to spot upsell and expansion opportunities

Keep your pipeline and activity up to date in our CRM

What We’re Looking For

Experience in cold calling, door-to-door, in-person, or other front-line sales

Comfortable picking up the phone and walking into a room

Self-motivated, competitive, and eager to learn

Strong communicator who builds trust quickly

Interested in long-term growth, not a short-term gig

Access to reliable transportation for on-site meetings in the GTA

Nice to have:

Knowledge of the construction industry, trades, or how builders hire

Experience with a CRM (HubSpot or similar)

What You’ll Get

Hybrid schedule with flexibility

Great commission structure with low base salary for first month.

Direct mentorship from UBILD leadership

A clear path to grow your own book of business and your career with us

The chance to get in early at a fast-growing construction tech company

Responsibilities

Prospect builders, contractors, and construction companies through daily cold calls and discovery meetings, then book qualified meetings with UBILD’s owner. Meet clients in person, maintain relationships to identify account expansion opportunities, and keep pipeline activity current in the CRM.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience in cold calling, door-to-door, in-person, or other front-line sales, and be comfortable making calls and meeting clients face-to-face. They should be self-motivated, competitive, strong communicators, interested in long-term growth, and have reliable transportation for meetings across the GTA; construction industry knowledge and CRM experience are preferred.
