We're looking for a chiropractor with an interest in women's health to join our team at Crafted Balance.
We're a women's health-focused integrative clinic in Toronto's Dundas West neighbourhood. Our team includes naturopathic doctors, psychotherapists, an acupuncturist, an osteopathic manual practitioner, an RMT and a Pilates instructor. We work together to care for women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Our care is collaborative and evidence-informed, and it fits around our patients' lives.
What you can expect with us
A split-based model.
Flexible hours with room to grow. Build your practice at a pace that works for you. We can discuss scheduling options that change over time.
Patients who need you. Many of the women we see deal with musculoskeletal pain tied to their life stage. In pregnancy and postpartum, that often means low back, hip and pelvic girdle pain. In perimenopause and menopause, it can mean joint pain, stiffness, frozen shoulder and new aches they didn't have before. We're looking for a chiropractor to support them through both.
Collaboration. You'll work closely with Dr. Madeleine Clark, ND, MSCP, who leads our perimenopause and menopause care, and Dr. Fiona Callender, ND, who focuses on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and pelvic pain. You may have shared patients, case conversations and warm handoffs. You'll also work alongside our other manual practitioners: our massage therapist, acupuncturist and osteopathic manual practitioner.
In-house referrals from a team and community.
A treatment room ready for chiropractic care. That includes an electric table used by our previous chiropractors, plus linens, towels and supplies, so you can focus on your patients.
Pilates on-site, so your patients can move from treatment into strength and movement work under one roof.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario
- Have training or experience in prenatal and postpartum care (Webster certification is an asset)
- Have an interest in the musculoskeletal changes of perimenopause and menopause
- Practise with a trauma-informed, consent-centred approach
- Value evidence-informed care and helping patients understand their own bodies
- Love being part of a team while growing your own practice
- If you want to build your practice alongside a supportive, collaborative team, we'd love to meet you.
