Role Description The Delivery Driver – Cannabis (Hybrid) role is a part-time position based in Toronto, ON, with a mix of on-site delivery work and limited tasks that are to be completed in store. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely transporting cannabis orders to customers, verifying customer identification and order details, and ensuring compliance with all provincial and company regulations. The role involves maintaining accurate delivery records, handling payments and documentation as required, and providing courteous, professional customer interactions during each delivery. The Delivery Driver is also expected to keep the vehicle clean and organized, report any issues promptly, coordinate with store staff on delivery schedules, and support occasional in-store tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle questions, and provide a respectful, professional delivery experience.
- Background in Sales and Food & Beverage, demonstrating comfort with point-of-sale interactions, product handling, and fast-paced service environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and confidence navigating Toronto, ON.
- Valid Cannsell Certificate
- Ability to lift and carry packages safely, follow detailed procedures, and maintain accurate delivery logs.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn cannabis regulations and age-verification requirements in Ontario.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Comfort using smartphones or tablets for route navigation, delivery apps, and communication with the store.
