Founded by award-winning women’s health & wellness coach and hormone imbalance specialist Kat Ostroumova, we support busy, high-performing women navigating hormonal health concerns, healthy weight management, stress, burnout, and major life transitions.
Our approach is personalized, evidence-informed, and grounded in helping women prioritize their health without restrictive diets, unsustainable routines, or an all-or-nothing mindset.
Our Culture
At Kat International Wellness, we believe health is the foundation of a productive, fulfilling life. We are a female-founded company built around women supporting women, continuous growth, and creating a positive impact.
Our working environment is:
- Health-conscious and wellness-focused
- Positive, collaborative, and encouraging
- Fast-moving, creative, and entrepreneurial
- Rooted in mentorship and continuous learning
- Supportive of new ideas, initiative, and professional development
We’re looking for someone who shares these values and has a genuine interest in health, wellness, and helping women thrive.
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, organized, and resourceful Content Marketing Intern who understands how meaningful content can educate, build trust, and inspire action.
You’ll help transform expert insights, coaching knowledge, videos, and real client questions into engaging social media posts, short-form videos, emails, blog articles, and digital campaigns.
This is an ideal opportunity for a student or emerging marketer who wants hands-on experience growing a founder-led wellness brand while learning how content supports the entire customer journey - from awareness and community building to lead generation and conversion.
You don’t need to be a women’s health expert. However, you should be curious, eager to learn, and comfortable translating complex ideas into clear, relatable, and engaging content.
What You’ll Do:
Content Creation and Social Media
- Support the planning and execution of weekly content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, email, and the Kat International Wellness website
- Turn interviews, coaching insights, videos, voice notes, and educational materials into social posts, carousels, captions, emails, and blog content
- Assist with short-form video production, including identifying strong hooks, writing scripts, selecting clips, adding captions, and completing basic edits
- Repurpose high-performing content across multiple platforms and formats
- Write clear calls to action that encourage engagement, lead-magnet downloads, email subscriptions, and coaching inquiries
- Maintain Kat International Wellness’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all content
Research and Strategy
- Research audience questions, social trends, relevant keywords, competitor content, and emerging conversations in women’s health and wellness
- Help develop responsible educational content related to hormonal health, healthy weight management, fitness, nutrition, GLP-1 support, stress, and burnout
- Review basic content-performance metrics and help identify the topics, formats, and messages that resonate most with our audience
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, launches, partnerships, and community-building initiatives
Content Production and Project Coordination
- Help manage content calendars, deadlines, approvals, publishing schedules, and digital assets
- Participate in content-filming days and assist with coordinating photoshoots and video shoots
- Help prepare shot lists, content briefs, props, schedules, and other production requirements
- Attend select speaking engagements, summits, and conferences with the founder to capture real-time social media content
- Support approximately one to two events per month, depending on the company’s schedule
- Assist with launches, partnerships, events, and other marketing projects as needed
- Communicate progress clearly, manage assigned deadlines, and help keep projects moving forward
What We’re Looking For:
- A current student completing a college or university program in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, health sciences, or a related field
- Eligibility to complete the internship through an approved academic placement or co-op program
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- A genuine interest in women’s health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, or personal development
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and current social media formats
- Basic experience using Canva and short-form video-editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
- Strong research skills and an understanding of how to identify credible, evidence-based sources
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and project coordination
- The ability to receive feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and work independently
- A proactive mindset - you notice opportunities, contribute ideas, and take ownership of your responsibilities
- Sensitivity and good judgment when communicating about health, hormones, weight, body image, and personal experiences
- Availability to work in person approximately one to two times per week and attend occasional events
- Ability to commute to Etobicoke, Ontario
Nice to Have
- Experience creating Reels, TikToks, carousels, blog posts, or email campaigns
- Experience coordinating a photoshoot, video shoot, event, or content-production day
- Familiarity with SEO, content-management systems, email-marketing platforms, or social scheduling tools
- An understanding of marketing funnels, lead magnets, and conversion-focused content
- Previous experience in the health, fitness, wellness, coaching, or personal-brand space
- A visual portfolio, writing samples, or social media work that demonstrates your creativity
- Examples of content performance or social media growth metrics, where available
What You’ll Gain
- Hands-on experience growing a founder-led women’s wellness brand
- Mentorship in content strategy, brand positioning, social media, email marketing, and lead generation
- Opportunities to create published work for your professional portfolio
- Experience supporting real campaigns, launches, events, and business-growth initiatives
- Practical experience translating expert knowledge into accessible, high-performing content
- Exposure to content-production days, speaking engagements, industry events, and professional-development opportunities
- Constructive feedback and room to develop your creative, strategic, and project-management skills
- Access to a customized online wellness program and private gym
- A flexible, collaborative, and entrepreneurial working environment
- Potential consideration for a paid freelance or employment opportunity following the internship
Important Note
Because our content addresses health and wellness topics, accuracy and responsibility are essential. The intern will not be expected to provide medical advice or develop clinical recommendations. All health-related content will be reviewed and approved by the appropriate Kat International Wellness team member before publication.
