Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Content Editor to support English editorial content for ongoing digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate has strong writing and editing skills, expertise in digital marketing content, and experience working in a large corporate environment.
Contract: 6 months, with potential for a 6-month extension or further extension
Location: Toronto – Hybrid (1 day onsite every Wednesday at 81 Bay Street)
Key Responsibilities
- Create and edit digital marketing content for websites, emails, online ads, and other digital channels.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, editorial standards, and voice and tone requirements.
- Apply SEO and digital accessibility best practices to all content.
- Collaborate with visual designers, translators, developers, and cross-functional Agile teams.
- Present content to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Manage multiple content initiatives while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Must-Have Skills
- 10+ years of strong writing and editing experience in digital marketing.
- Proven experience creating and editing digital content across websites, emails, online ads, and other digital platforms.
- Experience working in a corporate environment or large institution.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines, editorial standards, and voice and tone.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present work and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Nice to Have
- Previous CIBC experience or experience within a financial institution.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, or Adobe Workfront.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital accessibility, and digital content design principles.
- Strong digital and technical skills, with experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
