The Opportunity
A leading Toronto based AI venture studio is looking for an exceptional individual to work directly alongside ownership building, acquiring, and operating businesses.
Someone smart, ambitious, resourceful, and capable of figuring things out without being told how. This is not a traditional corporate role. You'll be involved in everything from negotiating major deals and launching new ventures to cold calling customers, solving operational problems, and building software with AI.
Some days you'll be working on a million-dollar opportunity. Other days you'll be knocking on doors.
Both matter.
What You'll Do
- Build businesses. Help take new ventures from idea to revenue, including product development, sales, operations, and growth.
- Make deals happen. Identify opportunities, build relationships, negotiate agreements, and close transactions.
- Solve difficult problems. Take on ambiguous challenges, navigate difficult conversations, and find solutions where others get stuck.
- Sell anything. Cold call, knock on doors, pitch executives, develop partnerships, and win customers.
- Build with AI. Use modern tools to create software, automate workflows, and execute ideas without waiting for a development team.
- Handle special situations. Step into urgent or sensitive business matters with good discretion, sound judgment, and composure.
- Take ownership. See what needs to be done, make a plan, and execute without constant oversight.
Who You Are
- Resourceful: You find a way when there isn't an obvious one.
- Fearless: You're comfortable with rejection, uncertainty, and difficult conversations.
- Unflappable: You remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Persuasive: You understand people and know how to build trust, negotiate, and influence.
- Relentless: You finish what you start. You care about outcomes, not excuses.
- Dependable: Your word means something, and people trust you with important responsibilities.
- Intellectually curious: You learn quickly, think independently, and adapt to unfamiliar industries.
- Low ego: You're just as willing to handle small, unglamorous tasks as major transactions.
You have the instincts of an entrepreneur, even if you've never started a company.
What We're Looking For
We're open to candidates from a wide range of backgrounds, including business, engineering, sales, technology, and entrepreneurship.
You might be a recent graduate who has already demonstrated extraordinary initiative, or someone with a few years of experience who is frustrated by the limitations of a traditional career.
We care much more about intelligence, character, judgment, and demonstrated resourcefulness than job titles.
