Role Description This full-time Insurance Broker role is a hybrid position based in Bolton, ON, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Insurance Broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance products, review existing policies, and recommend coverage options aligned with risk profiles and financial goals. Daily responsibilities include assessing client needs, preparing quotes, processing applications, managing renewals, and handling policy changes. The role also involves responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with insurance carriers to secure favorable terms and timely approvals. The Insurance Broker will maintain accurate records in brokerage systems, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and contribute to business development through referrals and relationship-building.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Insurance products, including policy structures and coverage options.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and problem-solving in client-facing situations.
- RIBO LEVEL 1 REQUIRED
- Experience in a brokerage, financial services, or related advisory environment is an asset.
- Proficiency with insurance management software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate with colleagues in person and remotely.
- Attention to detail, ethical judgment, and commitment to regulatory compliance and client confidentiality.
