About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. You’ll work closely with data and platform teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize batch and/or streaming data pipelines
- Build data processing applications using Java and Scala
- Ingest, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data lakes/warehouses
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve production pipeline issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements and delivery
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of software/data engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Scala
- Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Experience with Apache Spark (or similar distributed processing frameworks)
- Good understanding of SQL and data modeling
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
Nice to Have
- Kafka or other streaming platforms
- Cloud experience (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Airflow or other orchestration tools
- Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes
