Role Description
The Production Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Etobicoke, ON.
The role involves supporting daily food production, including ingredient preparation, product assembly, packaging, labeling, and order preparation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with product assembly and packaging
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), recipes, and production instructions
- Maintain product quality, consistency, and proper labeling
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Keep production areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with inventory, restocking, and order preparation
- Work efficiently with the team to meet daily production targets
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing, food production, bakery, or a similar environment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs and food safety guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials up to 70 lbs when required
- Comfortable working in cold environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas
- Food Handler Certification
