Zensar is looking for a Onsite Project Manager at Toronto, Canada - French-speaking candidates are preferred
Role Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, delivery and execution of projects for the entire delivery life cycle, applying established client standards and best practices. The PM plays a leadership role to ensure projects are successfully delivered on time, on budget, with good quality while making certain clients are put first and the goals of the program are met.
Skills and experience:
Must Have(s):
- Minimum 7 years’ experience managing Information Technology projects including Cloud implementations
- Experience with end to end project delivery including managing both the business and IT phases of projects in excess of $2M.
- Data Platform Expertise: Good understanding of IT architecture. University/undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent PM work experience within the financial services industry
- Ability to successfully navigate and deliver within a fully matrixed environment that is complex.
- Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to motivate and effectively manage teams Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Background delivering projects using SDLC, Iterative and Agile methodologies
- Excellent relationship building abilities and understanding that partnership is key to successful delivery
- Prior experience working with regulators and external clients
- PMP certification
Nice to Have(s):
- Google Suite experience
- Prior experience using Workday
- Experience with projects involving various solutions including in-house development, third party applications, on premise and cloud platforms
- Familiarity with data transformation and CICD automation tools
