Project Manager – 6 Month Contract
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate the finance-related workstreams of an Oracle Cloud ERP implementation.
· Act as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, IT, and external implementation consultants.
· Translate finance and accounting business requirements into functional system requirements.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Oversee project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies to ensure successful implementation.
· Support the configuration and implementation of key finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
· Coordinate data migration, system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
· Identify project risks, escalate issues, and provide regular updates to senior management.
· Support change management, user training, and post-implementation activities.
· Ensure the new system supports financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting requirements.
· Use Jira and Confluence to support project coordination.
Qualifications
· CPA designation is a strong asset.
· PMP certification is an asset.
· Project management experience on an ERP implementation; Oracle experience is preferred.
· Strong background in finance and accounting, with a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting.
· Previous experience managing or supporting ERP implementations, preferably Oracle Cloud ERP.
· Experience acting as a bridge between Finance stakeholders and technical implementation teams.
· Strong understanding of financial accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, and month-end close.
· Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
· Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into practical system solutions.
· Experience with data migration, UAT, system integrations, and change management.
Pay Rate
$60.00 / Hour
