Role Description The Salesforce Delivery Lead is a contract, hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This role oversees end-to-end delivery of Salesforce initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, sprint planning, and release management. The Salesforce Delivery Lead coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project timelines and budgets, and ensures that Salesforce configurations and integrations meet business and technical standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding technical teams, mitigating delivery risks, aligning stakeholders on scope and priorities, and maintaining clear communication and documentation across all phases of the project. The role also involves driving continuous improvement in delivery processes and ensuring adherence to best practices in Salesforce and DevOps.
Qualifications
- Strong Salesforce leadership experience, including delivering complex Salesforce projects and coordinating configuration, customization, and integration efforts.
- Proficiency in delivery and project management practices, such as Agile or hybrid methodologies, sprint planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD concepts, particularly as they relate to Salesforce DevOps, release management, and environment strategy.
- Understanding of modern application development (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and full stack or MEAN stack) to effectively collaborate with technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Toronto, ON with remote work, while maintaining productivity and communication.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical delivery plans.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of requirements, status updates, and delivery plans.
- Previous experience as a delivery lead, project manager, or solution architect on Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
