We're Hiring: Senior Account Executive & Team Lead – Advertising & Data Sales
📍 Toronto, ON | Hybrid
💰 $110,000–$130,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus
I'm partnering with a well-established Canadian digital marketplace to find a commercially driven sales performer who can win new business, build strategic relationships, and mentor/lead a small team while continuing to carry an individual sales target.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong relationships across Canada's advertising ecosystem, including agencies, brands, media buyers, and marketing decision-makers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive new advertising and data sales revenue while owning an individual sales quota.
- Sell display, native, programmatic advertising, audience and data solutions.
- Leverage existing relationships to open doors with agencies, brands and media buying teams.
- Lead, coach and develop a small sales team, with accountability for pipeline and results.
- Build relationships with senior marketers and media strategists, connecting advertising and data solutions to business objectives.
- Identify new revenue opportunities, develop creative sales approaches and bring new ideas to market.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in media or advertising sales, with a track record of exceeding targets.
- An established network across Canadian advertising agencies, brands and media buyers.
- Strong knowledge of display, native, programmatic advertising and data-driven targeting.
- Experience selling audience, data or insights-based solutions.
- Sales leadership or mentoring experience, with the ability to balance team development and individual performance.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to business development and closing deals.
Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000–$120,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Performance-based bonus opportunity.
