Senior Power Platform Architect (Copilot Studio & Governance)
About the role
Jarvis is building a dedicated team to help a large Canadian insurer scale citizen-led AI. The goal is to take Copilot and Copilot Studio from a small group of early adopters to thousands of employees building their own AI agents, safely. You’ll be the platform architect for the program: designing and running how Power Platform and Copilot Studio are opened up to the business, with the right guardrails, administration and visibility in place. You’ll work closely with the client’s AI leadership and architecture teams, and lead a more junior teammate focused on maker enablement.
What you’ll do
- Architect and lead Power Platform and Copilot Studio administration: environments, licensing, capacity, access and monitoring
- Design and run the governance model with the client team: a zoned environment strategy (personal, team, enterprise), DLP policies, and agent sharing and publishing controls
- Set up deployment pipelines and ALM, so agents can move safely from maker environments to production
- Establish the agent inventory, risk tiering, data and connector usage tracking, and cost visibility by line of business
- Connect citizen-built agents to approved enterprise AI services and integrations
- Build reference agents and templates in Copilot Studio that show makers what good looks like
- Advise the client’s AI leadership on platform decisions, and mentor junior teammates
Must-haves
- 5+ years with Power Platform, including enterprise-scale administration through the Power Platform admin center
- Hands-on experience designing environment strategy, DLP policies and security controls
- Experience with Managed Environments, solutions, ALM and deployment pipelines
- Working experience with Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents counts): building agents and understanding its admin and governance controls
- Strong communication skills, and comfort advising senior stakeholders
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in financial services, insurance or another regulated industry
- Experience running a Power Platform centre of excellence or citizen developer program
- Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, sensitivity labels and audit logging
- Licensing and capacity management for Copilot and Copilot Studio, including usage and cost reporting
- Integration with Azure AI services, custom connectors or MCP
- Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise application inventories
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Copilot Studio
