About Betstamp Ventures
One team. Four high-growth businesses. More than 2 million people using what we build.
Betstamp Ventures spans iGaming technology, market data and odds pricing, trading and market making, and acquisition and media. We price 200+ sportsbooks, operate a portfolio of consumer apps, and run our own media company.
It started with Betstamp, the free odds comparison and bet tracking app that professional bettors built in 2020 because the market didn't offer sharp enough tools. It's earned 200,000+ downloads and a 4.9-star rating, and the pricing behind it now runs across the industry. Today the same team also runs our own iGaming consumer brands and the media and partnerships business that brings players to them, all Canadian-owned and operated from our King Street West HQ in Toronto.
Small by design. One team runs all four businesses, so there's a lot of ground per person, and you're trusted with real scope early.
The Team
This role sits with our iGaming team, on the consumer side of the business and separate from Betstamp's sports products. We build and run our own consumer brands, plus a media and partnerships business that brings users to them. We're launching new brands on a shared platform, so what you build once gets used across every brand. Everything is built in-house by a small team. Decisions get made in a conversation, not a committee.
Who You'll Work With
You'll report to our CTO and work every day with the engineers on our consumer platform, plus the marketing and lifecycle team who live with what you ship.
The Role
Today, product decisions for our iGaming consumer apps are made by founders squeezing them in between everything else. We want one person who owns the roadmap end to end: what we build, why, in what order, and whether it worked. You'll turn a long list of good ideas into a short list of shipped, measured changes, and keep doing that every week.
What You'll Own
- The roadmap: one ranked, written list of what the platform builds next, agreed with engineering and updated every week
- The first-session funnel: signup, onboarding and the path to a first purchase, with clear specs and A/B tests on every change
- Offers and upsell: the purchase flow, offer selection and post-purchase prompts, which are our biggest near-term revenue lever
- New brand launches: the requirements and checklist so a new brand goes live on the shared platform quickly and the same way every time
- Measurement: every shipped change has a number it was meant to move, and you report whether it did
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: you've written the roadmap, the team is working from it, and the founders have stopped writing tickets
- First 90 days: the offer and upsell work is live and measured, at least three onboarding tests have shipped, and a new brand has launched from your checklist
- First 6 months: conversion from signup to first purchase is up and you can show which changes moved it
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years in product management, with at least two shipping consumer products end to end, ideally web or mobile apps with payments or subscriptions
- A track record of running experiments and making calls from the results, not just shipping features
- Comfort writing specs engineers can build from without a meeting, and reading dashboards and data yourself
- Strong judgment on what not to build
- Heavy, daily use of AI tools in your own work, for specs, analysis, prototypes or research
- Based in Toronto and able to work from our King St W office most days
Nice to Have
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, fintech or other high-frequency consumer apps
- Experience with offer, pricing or monetization design
- You've been the first product hire somewhere and built the process from scratch
What We Offer
- Competitive salary & raises: share in the upside you build
- Performance bonus tied to results
- Health spending account, gym membership, a work-from-anywhere month each year, and a gear and learning stipend
- Everyone has the best AI tools available, and nobody has to justify using them
Hiring Process
- Short video intro: a few questions, recorded on your own time
- Intro call: meet the team, swap questions
- Product case: a real problem from our roadmap, a short brief, under two hours
- Final interview: meet the founders and hear where the role is going
- Offer
