We're working with one of the fastest-growing companies in cybersecurity. In a few years they've gone from zero to a valuation in the billions. They're backed by top-tier investors, and some of the world's largest enterprises trust them. They're now building their North America engineering team from scratch, and this is one of the first senior seats.
The role
This is a full-stack role with a frontend lean, built for someone who loves AI. You'll work on a browser extension that hooks into AI applications in real time. You'll also build the backend services and admin layer behind it, owning features end to end from design to production. This is product engineering, not DevOps or SRE.
What you'll do
- Build web enforcement for leading AI applications, intercepting and classifying prompts inside third-party web apps without breaking them
- Design and build scalable services for AI event collection, enrichment, audit and policy management
- Build the admin experience that security and IT teams use to see and govern AI usage across their organisations
- Design distributed systems with a strong focus on scalability, performance, reliability and security
- Work closely with product, security and infrastructure teams in North America
What we're looking for
- Strong software engineering experience with solid frontend skills and a good understanding of backend
- Real passion for AI: you know the terminology, follow the ecosystem and experiment with AI tools
- End-to-end ownership of projects, from idea to delivery
- Strong communication skills and a high engineering bar
Bonus points
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI APIs, prompt engineering or AI-powered development workflows
- Experience building browser or Chrome extensions
