Silvie is building the Oura for seniors and health.
Silvie helps older adults live safer, longer and better in their own homes, and gives their families peace of mind. No cameras. Nothing to wear. Silvie is the consumer brand of Pontosense, whose technology is live in 24 countries, and it launches nationally in January.
When a daughter asks Google or ChatGPT how to keep Dad safe at home, Silvie should be the answer.
Why now
Families don't start with a brand. They start with a question: "how do I know if Mom fell?", "is fall detection worth it?", "are there options without cameras?". More and more of those questions are now answered by AI assistants, not ten blue links. January brings families looking for Silvie. We need someone to make sure they find us, and that the answers they get are accurate, calm and ours.
The Role
Your mandate is organic discovery: Silvie shows up, and gets cited, wherever families search, across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and the communities they trust. You'll work with growth, content, product and customer support, and you'll do the work yourself, from keyword research to publishing. This is a building role. Silvie's SEO and AEO program doesn't exist yet. You'll write it.
What You'll Build
- The answer library: clear, trustworthy pages for the questions families actually ask about falls, aging at home and caregiving, written so both people and AI assistants can use them.
- AEO from day one: structured content, schema and FAQs that get Silvie cited in AI answers, plus a simple way to track where we show up and where we don't.
- Technical foundations: site speed, indexing, schema and internal linking on the Silvie site, done with our web and product team.
- Comparison and buyer pages: honest pages on how Silvie compares with cameras, wearables and medical alert buttons, the pages families read right before they decide.
- Authority that compounds: earned mentions, partner pages and expert content from caregivers, clinicians and our own engineers.
- Measurement: dashboards for rankings, AI citations, organic traffic, sign-ups and revenue, so every page earns its place.
- Time with real families: read support tickets and listen in on calls, so the content answers what families really ask, in their words.
What Makes This Hard
- A new category: families don't yet know to search for "radar" or "passive monitoring", so you meet them where they are.
- Trust first: health-adjacent content has a high bar for accuracy, privacy and dignity.
- Calm, never fear: we reassure, we never scare people into buying.
- AEO is still being figured out: you'll test, measure and adapt faster than the playbooks are written.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 days
- An SEO and AEO audit and a clear plan the whole team understands.
- The first 20 to 30 core answer pages are live, structured and measured.
- A baseline for rankings, organic traffic and AI citations for Silvie's key questions.
6 to 12 months
- Silvie ranks and gets cited for the questions that matter most to families.
- Organic search and AI referrals are a real, growing source of sign-ups.
- Content that compounds: traffic grows month over month without paid spend.
The test: ask an AI assistant how to keep an aging parent safe at home, and Silvie is in the answer.
This is for you if
- You have grown organic traffic for a consumer, DTC, subscription, health or app brand, roughly 2 to 5 years in.
- You are hands-on: keyword research, briefs, on-page, technical fixes and publishing, not just strategy.
- You are already experimenting with AEO and GEO, and can show where your content gets cited by AI tools.
- You know your tools: Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and a CMS like Webflow or WordPress.
- You write clearly, or edit writers well, and you know when less is more.
- You care about older adults and their families, and it shows in your work.
- Bonus: health, wellness or caregiving content; schema and structured data; programmatic SEO.
This isn't for you if
- You would rather manage agencies than do the work yourself.
- Your playbook is keyword stuffing, link schemes or volume over quality.
- You only want to work on paid search.
Where This Goes
The person who builds this well becomes the owner of organic growth at Silvie, and grows into leading content and search as we scale.

How to Apply
