Original job description

Senior Integrated Project Manager | 2-Year Contract | Hybrid, Downtown Toronto

Swoon is partnering with the in-house creative agency of one of Canada’s Big 5 banks to find a Senior Integrated Project Manager. The agency runs marketing and creative work for the bank’s lines of business. You’d own the bank’s largest programs: enterprise-priority initiatives that span several business lines, have executive visibility, and need someone to set direction, not just keep the schedule.

This role suits a senior PM who works comfortably at both altitudes. You can build the governance and risk framework for a complex program, and you can still get into the detail with creative, marketing and technology teams to keep it moving.

What you’ll do

Lead planning, execution and delivery of large, high-priority strategic programs across one or more lines of business
Own the plan end to end: timelines, milestones, budget, resourcing, dependencies and deliverables
Keep programs aligned to business priorities, and guide senior business stakeholders through trade-offs and decisions
Coordinate cross-functional partners across creative, marketing, technology and the business
Identify and mitigate risks early, resolve complex issues on your own, and escalate with a clear recommendation when needed
Report progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership, run program meetings, and keep accountability across workstreams
Support integrated advertising campaigns and production projects as needed

What you bring

Significant senior project management experience leading large, complex, high-priority initiatives in an enterprise or matrixed environment
A track record of managing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
A strong grasp of project management methodologies and governance, and the judgment to adapt them to the project
Strong risk management: you see problems before they land and build real mitigation plans
Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities and competing demands
Experience with integrated marketing, advertising, creative or production projects is a strong asset
Experience in banking, insurance or another regulated industry is an asset
PMP is preferred

The details

2-year full-time contract
Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite in downtown Toronto
Pay range: $48–$58/hr. That’s up to $48/hr on T4, or up to $58/hr incorporated (C2C)
This posting is for an existing vacancy
