More Than a Summer Job. An Experience That Shapes Your Future.
Spend your summer living and working in the heart of Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada's oldest provincial park and one of its most spectacular wilderness destinations.
At The Taylor Statten Camps (TSC), We’re looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and adventurous individuals to join our team of counsellors and program staff at Camp Ahmek and Camp Wapomeo on Canoe Lake.
A summer at TSC is an opportunity to develop real-world leadership skills, build lifelong friendships, take on meaningful responsibility, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
Whether you're studying education, outdoor recreation, environmental sciences, business, healthcare, or simply looking for an experience that sets you apart, the skills you'll develop at camp will serve you long after the summer ends.

- Canoeing, swimming (RLSS), sailing, kayaking and SUP
- Outdoor education, camping skills, and wilderness tripping
- Athletics, tennis, and other land sports
- High ropes and climbing
- Arts, crafts, woodworking, camp craft, music, ecology, music, and drama
Specialized experience or certifications may be required for certain program positions.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who:
- Bring energy, initiative, and a positive attitude to their work
- Enjoy working with children and being part of a collaborative team
- Demonstrate leadership, adaptability, and sound judgment
- Are comfortable living and working in a remote "rustic be design" wilderness environment
- Have a genuine appreciation for the outdoors and experiential learning
- Are ready to contribute to a community built on friendship, responsibility, and shared experience

What You'll Gain
A summer at TSC develops skills that employers value across industries:

- Problem-Solving: Think independently, make decisions, and adapt to changing situations
- Teamwork: Collaborate in a close-knit community where every role matters
- Resilience: Build confidence, independence, and resourcefulness through meaningful challenges
And you'll do it all while living on Canoe Lake, surrounded by the forests, lakes, and wilderness of Algonquin Park.
