Responsibilities
Prepare surgical case carts for routine, specialized, and emergency situations, and operate decontamination and sterilization equipment. Prepare and package sterile instruments and supplies while meeting quality indicators, and deliver and pick up supplies.
Requirements
An approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and instrumentation experience are required, along with previous Tech 2 experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing Centre. Candidates should have broad knowledge of surgical services and complex instrumentation; operating room technical experience is preferred, as are strong organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, case cart preparation, and computer skills.
