Responsibilities
Prepare surgical case carts for routine, specialized, and emergency cases, and operate decontamination and sterilization equipment. Prepare and package sterile instruments and supplies while meeting quality indicators, and deliver and pick up supplies.
Requirements
An approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and prior MDRC Technician II experience are required; instrumentation experience is essential. Candidates should have broad knowledge of surgical services and complex instrumentation, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, case cart preparation proficiency, computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
