Intake and registration
Contact inclusion@vaughan.ca or 905-832-2281 extension 7408 to arrange a new-participant intake meeting. Staff use it to understand needs and the program fit. Complete the participant disability/medical information form before or during registration and upload it to PerfectMind documents or email Inclusion Services.
Returning participants can register online, at a community centre, by email or by phone. The Enriched Day Program serves ages 18 to 64 with instructor-led social, recreation, fitness and life-skills activities. Other featured families include adaptive sports ages seven to 17 and life-skills/social programs across ages eight to 65; individual course descriptions govern placement.

Choose support that fits the participant
The city identifies one-to-one support needs including help with basic care, limited danger awareness and disabilities affecting communication, mobility or understanding. Arrangements can be made for an Inclusion Counsellor, with the parent or guardian covering the cost.
Volunteer support is limited, not guaranteed and intended for mild needs. Volunteers do not provide personal care, medication, lifts or transfers, or support children with behavioural challenges. If a suitable volunteer is unavailable, families must supply their own support worker or hire an Inclusion Counsellor. Own support workers require a Vulnerable Sector Check and liability release.

Support-person approval and free equipment loans
An approved support person enters without a fee while assisting the participant throughout the program within arm’s reach. Advance approval and supporting documentation are required through the supervisor at 905-832-2377 extension 7405 or inclusion@vaughan.ca. A person participating independently rather than acting as support pays the normal fee.
Free accessibility rentals are first come, first served through community centres. Options include seated skating/hockey sledges and Lugicap Ice Perf, which accommodates a manual wheelchair without a transfer. Availability must be confirmed locally; the page is not an equipment-reservation guarantee.
