The official swimming page names 11 pools across Maple, Thornhill and Woodbridge. Each has its own section below. Thornhill Outdoor Pool is seasonal; inclusion in the list does not mean it is open in October. Check the facility schedule before travelling.

Lessons follow the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life program and run in fall, winter, spring and summer. Daytime group lessons are also offered. Live class widgets were unavailable in the captured page, so this guide does not invent times, remaining spaces or lesson fees.

Choose a lesson family

Parent and Tot starts as early as four months and covers children up to three. Preschool serves ages three to five; Swimmer one to ten is listed for ages six to 14. Inclusion one-to-one and private or semi-private lessons start at three. Teen lessons cover ages 12 to 17, adult listings ages 13 to 99 and older-adult offerings ages 65 and up.

These age ranges overlap on the official page. Choose the particular course description and skill prerequisite, rather than assuming an age label guarantees placement. Aquatic leadership has separate certification pathways; first-aid names changed June 22, 2026, while original Standard and Emergency First Aid remain accepted prerequisites as described by the city.

Reserve a drop-in and respond to waiting-list offers

Residents may pre-register and pre-pay seven days ahead; non-residents four days ahead. Limited walk-in spaces are available one hour before the start. A waiting-list offer arrives by email, with an account option to accept and register or decline. An unaccepted offer moves to the next person after 24 hours.
